West Wight Youth Football Club donate to the Wight Extreme Hike
West Wight Youth Football Club raised £300 for the Wight Extreme Hike in aid of the Wessex Wight Appeal, for the Isle of Wight Chemotherapy Unit.
Mothers and Fathers of the youth players took part in a football tournament on 20th May 2006 and raised money with sponsorship, a raffle and a barbeque.
Thanks from West Wight Youth Football Club goes to the parents of the players.
Presentation of the cheque took place on Monday 19th June 2006.

The firefighters of Green Watch at Newport Fire Station are very grateful for the support of the club, players, parents and supporters.
The total raised to date for the appeal now stands at £3,305.56.

Wight Extreme Hike Screen Wash, Saturday 22/06/2006 from 10am
Firefighters will be staging a screen wash at Newport Fire Station on Saturday 22nd June 2006 from 10am onwards.
The public ca have their vehicle screen washed in return for a donation to the appeal.
All proceeds raised will go to the Wessex Wight Appeal in aid of the Isle of Wight Chemotherapy Unit.
