Matt Le Tissier to join the team during the hike
Matt Le Tissier, a Vice President of the Wessex Cancer Trust, has kindly agreed to walk with the team at some point during the hike. Exact details of the section of the hike where he will join the team is still being decided and more details will be released nearer to the time of the challenge taking place.
The Wight Extreme Hike team are very grateful for his support.
Sponsors Sought - local and national businesses/companies
The Wight Extreme Hike team are seeking local and national business/companies to sponsor their t-shirts to be worn during the challenge.
The sponsors will feature on the t-shirts to be worn by the teams during the challenge, along with inclusion on the thousands of flyers which will be handed out over the duration of the challenge and on the challenge website at www.firefighterchallenge.co.uk. Anyone interested in sponsoring the t-shirts should contact the challenge team by e-mail.

The Wight Extreme Hike is being undertaken to raise money for the Wessex Wight Appeal from the Wessex Cancer Trust, which is raising funds for the Isle of Wight Chemotherapy Unit. The challenge is for a team of Firefighters from Green Watch, Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service, Newport Fire Station, Isle of Wight, to walk around the coastline of the Isle of Wight over three days.
