Wight Extreme Hike - Day Three, Saturday 8th July 2006
The team complete the challenge on the third day.
In what is thought to a first, a team hike, swim and row around the Isle of Wight shoreline, covering a minimum of 72 miles in three days - exact distance is not known, but is probably in excess of 80-90 miles.
The team complete this all without any serious injuries and no one dropped out of the challenge.

The team are enjoying their breakfast at the Yaverland Sailing and Boat Club.
The team's sincere thanks to the club for their hospitality the previous evening, overnight stay and use of all the facilities.

The team leave Whitecliff Bay and head for Bembridge.

After a very brief stop for some fluids the team head for Bembridge Harbour and another swim.

The support crew await the arrival of the team, with a change of clothes ready for their swim across the harbour.

The team then head off for Seaview, Fishbourne and East Cowes.

The team arrive in Cowes having crossed the river Medina via the floating bridge.

The team begin their final stretch through the high street of Cowes, accompanied by a band, Cowes Fire Station crews, support crew, supporters, volunteers and family, collecting as they go.
