I joined the Fire Service as a retained Firefighter in 1994, serving at Freshwater Fire Station and then went full-time in 1998 at Newport.
At Newport whole time and retained at Freshwater. I've served mainly on Green Watch at Newport, but completed a stint on White Watch for about eight months.

The challenge is important to me because people close to me have had cancer and I've seen how tough it is to travel to the mainland when you are feeling really unwell. You never know if this terrible illness is going to strike you or your family so dig deep and let's get this chemo unit up and running.
